WEIGHT
My weight has hit a plateau and I'm unsure of what to do?

Many factors come into play when wanting to take your level of fitness to another level. What is critical to understand is that every past attempt to lose weight plays an affect on your results today. To brake through new grounds, a thorough understanding of your past nutrition and exercise habits along with your current ones is necessary. Again we will go down the list of the following areas:

  • sleep
  • nutrition
  • exercise
  • supplementation
  • water
  • level of stress

Once we are clear of what your currently are doing, then we create a game plan to move you to the next level. First we look at the quality of your sleep, hours of sleep, environment and consistency to the quality of the nutrients in each meal and the portion size depending on the activity of each day. Are the majority of your meals prepared by yourself, are you buying frozen/processed food and how often are you eating out in restaurants are important questions to ask yourself and the answers will play a huge significance in your overall health as will alcohol, coffee, salt, and aspartame. In the area of exercise, it can be as simple as shifting the speed or the incline, to a different type of activity allowing the body to recruit more muscle fibers along with making sure you are working out in your target fat burning zone. .

RESULTS
How to achieve permanent weight loss results?

To lose weight and keep it off permanently is sometimes distinctly different. It's important to set goals that both are realistic to keep along with finding out what lies beneath reaching these goals. Even though goals such as losing weight, gaining muscle, looking good in clothes are important, they are all external, i.e. they will give you a temporary satisfaction and usually doesn't keep the weight off. To find internal goals such as unlimited energy, greater outlook on life, peace of mind, inner confidence, and satisfaction - along with the external goals - will result in permanent weight loss.

When meeting a client for the first time, either in person or over the phone, the session will begin with goal setting and throughout the time working together, the coaching will reflect these goals. If your goals changes, it's important to communicate these changes with your coach. When goals change, the coach will look at why - and inquire into have your life style, career, health changed - to see the underlying reason for a desire to shift the goals.

To keep the weight off permanently requires a continued assessment in your goal setting even after the initial goals are set. We tend to live into the future even though our past often reflects our every day actions thus a huge vision of what we strive for affects our every day health and life. To keep the weight off permanently requires embracing a new life style that you feel you can own and apply with consistency over a long period of time.

TIMING
How fast can I see result?

It all depends on your old habits and your new commitment - the actual number can be anywhere from ½ lb per week to 3-4 lbs per week.

Your results depend on your previous attempts in losing weight along with what kind of life style you are leading. To lose body fat, it's critical to have adequate amount of sleep, eat frequent balanced meals, incorporate an exercise routine into your lifestyle, stay hydrated, take supplements and reduce your level of stress.

To achieve permanent weight loss, an internal balance is required. .By stabilizing your blood sugar, the body will release its stored fat thus keeping your blood sugar stable is critical for continuous and ever lasting weight loss.

Bottom line is that if you are honest with yourself, you can turn inspiration to discipline; you will be successful in losing weight and keep it off. My experience is that a weekly coaching session is proven to be the most successful way of losing weight.
